Note, very early car models (mostly pre 1998) with the 2 pin connectors, or LT vans with a round connector need one of these additional adapters. 2 pin or round LT.

The HEX-V2 interface for VCDS by Ross-Tech has all the features of their long established and well proven HEX-USB+CAN interface and more.

It is built around a faster, more powerful microprocessor and it can typically scan a CAN based car 2-3 times faster than before. The extra power means it can work on the newest generation cars and is backwards compatible with the earlier cars too.

The USB cable is now user replaceable, so if you do damage it, you can use a standard USB cable to get back up and running straight away (we also keep replacement cables in stock).

The LEDs have been moved to the end of the interface and are much brighter so they're easily visible, giving you instant feedback regarding communication status or BUS faults.

This is the enthusiast version with a 3 VIN limit, and it's also available as a 10 VIN or unlimited VIN unit. Choose the version that works best for your needs now, and upgrade later if you need to.
