Variant Configuration is used to tell a module about the options particular to the car it is fitted into.

For example, on a typical engine ECM, the Variant Configuration would tell it whether the car has Cruise control or Air conditioning etc

Start by clicking [Programming]

Then click [Program Variant Configuration]

Set the options to match the cars specification and click [Program] / [Perform Coding]
