Packaging Materials
We carefully select all the packaging materials we use to ensure they protect the tool during transit and storage, and also minimise the damage to the environment when they are eventually disposed of.
Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE)
The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items.
How are we helping?
In the UK, retailers and distributors must provide a system which allows all customers buying new electrical equipment the opportunity to recycle their old items free of charge. As a responsible retailer, we help by financially supporting the national network of WEEE recycling centres established by local authorities. This is achieved through paid membership of the national Distributor Take-back Scheme (DTS).
If you are disposing of an old diagnostic tool, please don't throw it in the bin! Instead consider donating it to your local technical college, or other training facility. If it's beyond use, drop it off at your local recycling centre where it will be separated from biodegradable waste and disposed of safely
