I recently connected my DEC onto a new shape (07 reg) transit to check for an abs fault, the fault was, that during the bad weather the customer had a minor accident causing the steering geometry to be knocked out and after repair the steering angle sensor required recalibration. I was somewhat surprised that with such a new model the DEC did communicate with this vehicle and system but unfortunately would not recalibrate the steering angle, I used the "Report" facility that is built into the tool and asked if this could be looked into and maybe added at a later date.

I was stunned when within a couple of days I received an email form the company with an attachment to allow me to carry out this calibration and was informed it will be included in the next update. For all you out there that moan about diagnostic tools and how much the updates cost - may I just ask one question - How many give you this level of back up ?

Thank you very much Roman and all associated with this brilliant tool.

See my post about the peugeot 106 plip programming under peugeot section.

Roman has done this several times for me. Some examples are alfa 159 steering angle calibration, peugeot 407 info display configuration, bsi programming.
Dec leaves the big guys way beyond.

With that kind of service it makes you want to put the Dec on "the list" of must get tools....

I had an issue with mine few weeks ago, rang Maverick Tech and within a few hours had an e-mail containing the file I needed to the job.

Dec is the way to go, without a doubt..
