Hi,
I have a 2002 BMW 320 diesel manual. Sometimes while driving along, the ABS & traction control lights come on and the car looses power. it will only rev out to about 1,500rpm. It is an intermittent fault. I have a DEC Superscan & it shows the following fault codes:
PO800- (which refers to the transmission)

It also shows the following "pending fault code":
POC00- Unknown code!

Can anyone help?

With thanks
Ciaran.

I'm not sure the tool is reading the car correctly.
Diesel cars don't have to comply with EOBD or OBD2 but sometimes they do answer back and this can make the tool thinks it's OK when it's not.

Does the live data look sensible? Can you see road speed etc?

Hi Derek,

Yes, live data is fine and can see road speed etc. main dealer said it may be a broken wire & they cleared the fault code but the problem still occurs from time to time. Thank you for your reply,
