Strange one this, went out to it to replace the thermostat housing as it had distorted and was leaking.
A few days later the customer called to say the car was refusing to start, this is the first time it had done this in the 7 years they had owned it. It's covered just under 30k

I plugged in and there were no DTC's present. Engine was showing rotation in live data on cranking, coolant temp was showing at 10 degree's and fuel pump could be heard priming. Checked the injectors with noid's and all had pulse, Spark was also present from each plug

I removed the plugs and they were soaked with fuel. I dried them off and refitted the plugs. It then started first turn of the key as it should. The car was then fine for a few days and must of been started around 10/15 times without any problems.

Customer phones again a few days later to say car was refusing to start, again plugged in and no DTC's and all data the same as before. Once again pulled plugs to find them soaking, dried off and started first time once again. Anyone come across this before on these?

You must read the rules before you ask your question because questions without proper subject line format and good details may be removed

The first word in the subject line should be the model name of the car. (do NOT include the make. The forum will add it for you)
The next part must be the CC. Type it as numbers seperated by a dot like 1.0, 2.5, 1.25 etc.
Do not add CC or ltr, and don't type 4 numbers as then it confuses the search tool

Next the fuel type as a word so diesel, petrol, LPG etc. (not Tdi, TD etc.)

Next the year as four numbers like 2001, 2004, 1999 etc. Do not use a reg letter or 52plate etc. It is not a year!
The rest of the subject line should have a few words about the fault or question
So for example, if your question is about a 1.9 diesel 2001 Astra with poor starting when cold
your subject line would be Astra 1.9 diesel 2001. Poor starting when cold

Add some background information to the body section of your question so we get an idea of the general history of the car
You should include the approximate mileage (just as 120k, 30k etc)
and any recent work or other things that might help build a picture of the car

REMEMBER, we can't see your car, so you must paint the picture properly in your question
