Hello all,
had this in this evening, car is very slow to rev up and car wont pass 2700rpm, ( like in limp mode all the time)
Dont have any live data or testing to do on this car, so i know i should send this away to some one with data on it, but think that will mean sending this to the local Kia dealer  :(where this man bought this car 6 mths ago going like this)

Any ways if anyone has any testing I can do, or checks including common problems with these , id appreciate it,  so far checked maf reading 2.5v at idle, believe this reading is high,  because someone has Egr valve blocked off,

Going to unblock it in the morning, also checked turbo and is working, exhaust also not blocked

If i cant see anything wrong in morning, il send it to another Kia dealer to get plugged in,

any tips or testing ideas appreciated,
Thanks

previous post was locked forgot to put in year  Embarrassed

Anyways looked at this today and checked clutch switch, maf, and brake switch, know its like finding a needle in haystack whats wrong without plugging it in,
But I cant find the Boost pressure sensor on this, so does anyone know if there is one or where the pipe goes to from it  Huh

checked inlet manifold turbo etc,, know there is no boost control solenoid on this as wastegate on turbo works on pressure build up in turbo, and wastegate opens with this pressure, as there is pipe coming from turbo to wastegate,
            ,

But never came across crdi before without boost pressure sensor, so is this possible ? or maybe its just in a awkard place that i cant see,,

Anyways any ideas appreciated  Thumbs Up
Thanks
