Hola !

Been out to look at a 2005 C-max 1.6 petrol today. Report of Engine Mil Light on. When I got there, she says that the light has now gone out.

I did a network test on the car using IDS and there was only 1 fault stored, this was in the IC ( instrument cluster ), fault code U1900, Can-bus communication error. There are no other codes or running problems reported with the car.

I cleared the fault code and then did an IC and PCM software update.

I'm sure this is nothing to worry about and have advised customer to inform me if it returns.

Can anyone advise on anything I should be concerned about for future return visits?

I thankyoo  Smiley

Thanks guys. Just what I wanted to hear.  Thumbs Up

I did ask about the battery charge, nothing out of the ordinary reported here , nor anything out of the ordinary with the IC.  Maybe something to keep an eye out for.

They want me to go back in a week or so to service their Vectra so I will have chance to quiz the lady again.

Thanks again
