Locking system unlocks all doors and switches the alarm off, but doesn't lock only sets the alarm. With ignition on the dash display shows that all openings and closings are working.  When i press the remote to lock the siren bleeps once and the red led comes on inside, then i get another single bleep from the siren?.  Any help please.

Hi Steve,

Are all the doors, boot and bonnet showed as closed in live data?

1 siren bleep normally means a door /bonnet / boot is detected as open.

HTH

Hi Doc, tried to look at live data with the Dec II but it doesn't list a body unit for this year and model, tried all models also but still no joy.  Going to try with another machine, i think your right about the system thinking a door, bonnet or boot is not closed, but wouldn't that show up on the dash display or does it use a separate circuit for the locking.

Spent ages finding the problem, the unlocked signal circuit for both front doors back to the multifunction unit had rotted away under the passenger floor.

Thanks
Steve.
