Mil light on ,code for system to rich, with freeze frame data of long term fuel trim  -17% ,but presently running at -8%.
Cleared code ,light has gone but will obviously return next time he goes down the motorway again.

I replaced the oxygen sensor last year with a universal (i know ,false economy) and activity is very sluggish unless really hot and fast idleling, but so was the original but am ready to put a decent one on,  but have also checked the map sensor which is a 5volt denso unit which will only reach 3 volts on Wot.

Idling is 1volt ,but with ignition on ,engine off voltage is a static 3 volts.  Question is does anyone know if this particular sensor should reach 4.5volts ,or 3 volts max is the norm for wot.       (part number  079800 5410 / 5v ps 4a )  .

  Cheers

                  George

New ntk lambda sensor and is switching much better on fast idle ,but still struggles to switch on idle ,long term fuel trim also much better, but am still concerned with my maf sensor reading of 3 volts  on wot.
If anyone has data to confirm what the max output should be ,would be most appreciated

So it's gone to 3v ign on then drops down at idle, then up to 3v wot?

Provided supply and earths are all good back to ecu, then I would condemn it.

Isn't the capture Steve supplied a known good one from his CRV?

   Thankyou . your a star.
Your Map sensor performs  exactly the same as mine so the probability is ,mine is working normally ,or we both have duff ones  Grin. Stranger things have known to happen !! .
