This vehicle was in bodyshop just before Xmaz for front bumper change after a minor shunt.
After repair it was noted that airbag light was illuminated and i was asked to scan & clear faults.
This was done with Launch using super 16 under "Non Canbus" and following faults retrieved.

1/ Drivers Airbag Short to Ground.
2/ Power Supply Voltage Low
3/ Left Up Front Satellite Acceleration Sensor (SAS), Internal Diagnostic Code.
4/ Right Up Front Satellite Acceleration Sensor (SAS), Internal Diagnostic Code.

Bodyshop called Chrysler dealer with above info, who told them to replace the steering clockspring, which they now have done, but obviously faults still remain the same  Roll Eyes

These faults are permanant and would not clear. Obviously owner claims light was not on before accident, but my own view is that car has possibly been in a previous accident and not had the SRS Module replaced?

Bodyshop adamant that battery has not gone flat or been jump started. I did scan other systems but no sign of any power supply problems.
Any input gratefully received as to what you think the codes refer to would be most appreciated.

Regards, Gary

Gary, I don't have launch but how reliable is it on Chrysler, have you got anything else to scan it with to confirm codes.

Or could you disconnect something like Pre-tensioner see if reads it OK?

Looks like you were right about Launch Darren.
Car was driven off to main dealer and they cleared faults whilst he waited  Sad
