Does anyone know if the parking aid control unit, mounted in the spare wheel well, needs to be coded or programmed if a new unit is fitted?

The reverse sensor buzzer sounds for 3 seconds when ignition is turned on indicating a fault. I have checked the sensors in the bumper all OK. The local Jag dealer had the car and dignosed the Control Unit is faulty, apparently very common.

Any info ,or how to test the system any further would be gratefully appreciated.

Autodiagnos covers this parking aid ecu by going into Ford Transit connect! Its not there in Mondeo.

Power supply fault code to sensors. Checked live feed to sensors only got 0.15v Disconnect all sensors got 12v. Found one sensor faulty and wiring corroded under bumper.
