just disappointed because i got rid of my rover 200 as i was doing 25 mpg and bought this Audi diesel and it only doing 29 mpg

new maf fitted no difference  Embarrassed bosch

there is a big leak on the pipe which connects to the IMF
can anyone tell me if there supposed to be a o ring there
will this make such a big difference Huh

I had no idea that the International Monetary Fund had a big pipe connected to it! As I personally have never heard of an automotive TLA that equates to IMF then I am guessing that you are in some way referring to the intake air pipe/trunking.

Any air leaking into this part of the intake system is "unmetered" and therefore not seen by the AFM and subsequently is not included in the PCM's fuelling calculations

will this make such a big difference Huh

new o ring fitted       then 2 gallons  put in total 56 miles 28 mpg looks like ill have to put up with it
only thing worried about it wont pass smoke test on mot  Huh

That not right, are you basing the MPG on the daft dash display or proproer brim to brim calc?
