Hi
A customer is bringing in a Honda CR-V for a service and a list of jobs he has noticed, since owning the car for just a few weeks. (not sure how/where he bought it from??)

One of the jobs is to get the sun roof working.

On collection of the car it struggled to start and so, being a capable chap, he fitted a new battery on, without any drama.

Soon after, he noticed that the sunroof wasn't working, yet it worked before he bought the car.
He was talking to a guy in the pub  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes who said that he also has a CR-V and his sunroof no longer worked after he had a battery change as well. - What a coincidence??

Now, I'm going to look a bit silly if I start investigating the fault, when all along this guy in the pub was right in his theory that there is some sort of reset procedure which needs to be done.

Has anyone heard of such a reset procedure??
Love to hear from anyone who is in the know.

Ive just done a quick Google search,  and it dosent seem to be a common fault. If there  was a reset procedure, im sure someone would of posted it somewhere.

Hi
Yes - before I posted the request, I did the same search - with no joy.
Thanks for taking the time.
It's coming in this afternoon, so we'll see.

Hi Dave
I did as you suggested and found this forum on the Toyota:
http://toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=16606

The car arrived in earlier than planned and I had a quick look.

Seemingly, there was no power to the interior light/roof switch, as the light didn't dim at all when the switch was operated.

A little bit more of a look around and I found a 'Main roof' push button switch to the right of the steering column, just where the drivers right knee is.
I assume that he's knocked it when getting in/out??

I can't see any picture symbols on the switch to tilt the glass, only open/close. As such, I think it must be a very basic system without one touch control.

That'll do for me.  Thumbs Up
