Been shopping around for a new machine.
Got Snap on modis, Merc das and got access of a Texa of our auto electrician.
Got various contract work, some with lease vehicles that are replaced at 3 years old, so need a machine that will talk to ford transits under 3 years old, but also Renault Clio, Pug partners, vw caddy, fiat scudo and doblo, vaux combo (all ages).
Price doesnt really matter as long as i can keep my customers happy, but dont really want to go to the expense of dealer machines for them all.
will DEC cope?

Yes a very good machine but to what depth do you want to go? The modis you already have will talk to all the main modules on all the vehicles you have listed. Smiley

You have listed quite a few manufactures,  with out going out and spending a fortune on OE equipment,  i would recomend the dec this will cover all your makes listed,   also I would have VDCS and vaux-com  these two are very cheap and very powerful tools, that would give you excellent coverage on your VAG and Vauxhall,

Not brilliand on new transit, updates expensive, and too many "undocumented codes" on the renaults

Another thumbs up for DEC.. only let me down on a few occasions on VAG and Vauxhal but got VCDS and VAUX.COM to cover this...Although I got the feeling I'am not using it enough...(not many fords and french through my doors).

Hope this helps
