Hi again,
If the bores were ovaled would this give the problem for the first five minutes and then clear?
It would seem to me a gravity thing!

i have a mx5 track car and bought it smoking ,talk about oval bores.But stangely enough just number 2 and 3 cylinders!
Anyway did use oe head set or aftermarket,i found the valve stem seals absolutely cr*p on aftermarket sets. Sounds like a job for smoke pro!!!!!

But it was the bores being "oval"
