I have an Accent in my workshop which is giving me the following codes with my carman scan

P1693 Immobilizer Transponder

P1695 Immobilizer eprom error

What do these codes mean and what could be causing them?

I would appreciate any help since I have no experience with immobilizers.

you need to fit a new smartra unit (coil antena around the ignition barrell) common fault. Thumbs Up

Thanks for the reply. The car ended up starting later on so I'll look in to again next time I have it in.
