santa fe 2.4 petrol 2001. hesitation when driving.

Hi guys. Got this one in today and it has had an intermittent problem which is now more apparent. It has a very slight hesitation when driving, almost a fluffy feel. It has had a new set of genuine plugs and is regularly serviced. I researched a bit and there is a software update covering this. Anyone had this done and was it a success? This car is a new customer and has been elsewhere with no success!! My Snappy showed no fault codes through EOBD and i did notice that it revved up a bit first thing today, which seems to be a symptom of the update or lack of. Thanks for any help lads. Regards Paul

Hi Paul,

Carbon buildup around inlet valves and injector nozzles? Dirty injectors internally?
Motorvac CarbonClean will fix this.

Apparently the various garages have tried all kinds of cleaners etc, but to no avail. I have just been in to see my Spanish mate in Hyundai, and he is going to do the updates later today for me. There are a few, so may sort it. If not, it may be as you say Roger. Thanks Paul
