Customer complained car had drivabilty problem (via third party so details sketchy) car was at cruise and died not sure if engine warning  lights came on or it just lost power.
I scanned for faults using launch and Ford software and it showed up two faults which related to the pedal position sensor;
Pedal position sensor circuit track B
Pedal positon sensor circuit track C
Im hoping the ford descriptions match jaguar properly  Huh

If the pedal sensor went faulty during cruise would it normaly cause the engine to go to idle and not respond to pedal movement? Is the pedal sensor a common failing component on these cars?

Also found out the AA were called but only found a loose clamp on the hose from the MAF but were unsure if this was the probable cause? Car had been driven some time at open road speeds before it apparently lost power so im not convinced the loose clamp would be the cause. Car seems to drive fine with no faults today  Roll Eyes
Sorrry for vauge post, just trying to get a bit of a general guide to see if im going in the right direction!
