@Angus; Reads 195 kg/h at a little over 4000rpm

@Steve I don't think it has a particulate filter but I will check it out.

Don't have figures for that car to hand; but that doesn't seem too far wrong.

Are you still getting the MAF code?

Blanking the EGR off is not a good idea on these. Is the ECU not trying to calculate air flow with a working valve but as its blanked off this then upsets the calculated air flow??

That's what I was thinking alright. I am going to get an EGR for it I think and put it back on.

Angus yes the code comes back soon after being cleared.

Update, got an EGR this morning and fitted it.

And now the car is worse!

Now the engine will not rev past 3300rpm even with the accelerator pressed all the way down.

I am going to do a scan and take a better look at 2 o clock.

In the meantime if anyone has any ideas I would be very grateful.

Ok when I went out that time it would rev to the red line. It took its time getting there but got there after a few seconds.

Air flow reading at the red line is 242 kg/hr

I also checked the throttle position and it is reaching 100%

The car is dangerously slow on the road, no boost and hardly able to pull itself in 3rd gear. I turned around and came back before trying 4th or 5th!

This is beginning to smell like a MAF fault.  Have you got a MAF voltage showing in live-data?

Does it rev better with the MAF unplugged?

Ok there is no MAF voltage live data stream.

The car performs much better with the MAF disconnected. It is still a bit down on power from very low revs but the turbo spools up fine and the car is 90% ok.

Does this mean the MAF is at fault?
