Was wondering if anyone knows if the engine ecu can be replaced on this car from another car without effecting the immobilizer. It's got a Siemens unit and the ignition drivers have failed. New ecu will write her off.  Sad Sad

I did get BBA to repair one of these many years ago.  Common problem.

Yes you will have to transfer immo info from one to the other or easier still just replace the Driver transistors or IC.

how can you transfer the immob info? Do i need to remove an immobilizer unit from the car as well?
