Yes, I understand you perfectly. Please do not take that as an offense.
These systems are very complex indeed, and the "serial" diagnostic does not always helps.
In very frequently, you have to do measurements, component checking, looking for a burnt, or corroded connectors, etc. to get down to the real fault. That's true.
We didn't want to change the fault code description, because if you have access to Technical Information System (TIS), or any other repair manual, you will need these exact codes, and descriptions to find the related information.
As you see, there are three different fault code text description for the B3795 fault code.

Currently, I do not know any easier way to follow:
The BCU is part of the vehicle immobiliser system, but I think, that for testing, you can swap with another one, from a different car. This cannot do any harm on any car. Of course, the car will not start, and there will be many codes, concerning the immobiliser, wrong VIN, etc., but you will be able to test the turn signal. If the BCU is faulty, then you have to replace it, the programming can be done with a suitable diagnostic tool.
