hi all,

Just after a little advice on a Audi 1.8 Turbo, BFB engine, 2003 model, had this vehicle in for a timing belt, everything straight forward until it came to installing the new belt. For the life of me I could not make head nor tail of the instructions for tensioning the belt !!!  Huh

(I've attached Autodata instructions, starting at number Cool I could not find anywhere to insert a 8 mm drill bit  Shocked
I tensioned it using experience but could not follow the instructions.

The car has gone now and running fine, but just wondered what the correct way of doing them for future reference is and if i`m just being dum and not understanding the instructions  Tongue

many thanks,

Dave
