ok here goes,

ustomer with Audi A4 2001 (wauzzz8e32a109497) diesel

Driving along goes over speed bumps or and driving around bend occasionally he looses power. and black smoke comes out of the exhaust. I have done a dtc check with auto diagnos and dec scan and vag com no faults.

The only thing coming up different is  (difference in quantity inject between cylinders) on live data injectors 4 & 3 = -0.00mg/h  2&3 = 0.25mg/h  and 1 & 3 = -0.96mg/h whether this is of any relevance I'm not sure, but its not a fault code.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated but thinking along the lines as I'm only doing diagnostics and don't have a garage to do the work but have a friend who does. thanks.
tony

forgot to mention when the vehicle looses power if you keep your foot down flat down it will pick back up again

Can't understand why no fault code is getting flashed but this did happen after a service so could be pipe work.

Thanks all

Check the pipe work to and from the turbo and intercooler etc. It may be moving around and losing boost. If you check live data when driving, compare wanted and actual values for boost and MAF

Someone has been in the tank for one reason or another, it's pulling air up and it is usually the suction jet unit that is cracked. It will probably behave perfectly with a full tank.
