Here are some of the questions we have been asked about the ScanMaster EOBD and OBD2 diagnostic tool
Q1, Does it come with a USB or serial interface?
A1, This tool is delivered to you complete with serial hardware and a USB dongle so you can use it on either USB or Serial.
Q2, What cars does it work on?
A2, ScanMaster EOBD works on all cars that comply with the EOBD standard. These are
- Petrol cars made for sale in Europe on or after 2000 (new models) / 2001 (existing models)
- Diesel cars made for sale in Europe on or after 2003 (new models) / 2004 (existing models)
And it also works with all OBD2 cars which are:
- Petrol cars made for sale in the US after 1996
Q3, How much do updates cost?
Q4, Updates to ScanMaster are currently free and there are no plans to introduce any fees
