DEC SuperScan 2 - Viewing Live Sensor Data |
|
|
|
The DEC SuperScan 2 software is so easy to use, you will be able to read and clear fault codes and view live data within a few minutes of unpacking the tool.
Of course because this is such a powerful tool there are also many options you'll need to take some time to learn, but with backup from ilexa OnBoardDiagnostics you will be able to tackle any diagnostic job with confidence
Each screen is bright and clear with large displays that can be read easily and quickly
This live data screen is from a 2002 Land Rover Discovery 2
This is screen 4 of 11 available in the ABS system on a Land Rover and shows engine speed, ride height and shuttle valve status.
Underneath each box you can see the Min and Max displays.
These two boxes show the highest and lowest values seen while viewing this page.
This is very helpful if you are working alone as you could spin each wheel and the Max box would remember the highest value from each wheel speed sensor.
To the right of the Min Max boxes is the 'virtual oscilloscope' button shown as a coloured bar graph. The DEC has a real two channel oscilloscope built in but it can also display any live sensor value on it's virtual scope. By clicking the graph button the display changes to a live graphing oscilloscope. The current value is shown in large numbers at the top of the screen and also as a moving trace across the oscilloscope grid. The image can be frozen and restarted at any time for closer inspection
