  Update to the ScanMaster software are free of charge
• USB or Serial interface?
   

  Our ScanMaster comes with both Serial and USB connections included.
• What cars does ScanMaster cover?
   

  ScanMaster EOBD works on all cars
  
  

  • Petrol cars made for sale in Europe on or after January 2001
  • Diesel cars made for sale in Europe after 2003 /2004

  And it also works with all OBD2 cars which are:
  

  • Petrol cars made for sale in the US after 1996

• Can I order by phone
   

  Yes, that's no problem. You call telephone us anytime between 9am and 6pm and we can take your order over the phone.
  
• Do I have to pay VAT
   

  If you are in the UK you will have to pay VAT because we are a UK company and by law we have to charge you VAT
  
  If you are outside the UK but in Europe, you will have to pay VAT unless you are VAT registered in which case we can "zero rate" the VAT.
  
  If you are outside Europe you will not be charged VAT, but you might pay import duty to your local customs office
• How much does carriage cost

• Can I find out why the alarm keeps going off?
   

  
  Yes,
  The alarm codes can be retrieved, in the following way:
  
  When you select an Alarm, there will be a separate "special functions" button, which become active. If you press this button, you will see all the stored alarm codes. This is valid for Astra-G, Zafira, Vectra-B, Omega-B, so far (28/07/2007)
• Can I run the software on 2 PCs?
   

  Yes.
  
  Your VAUX-COM license allows you to run the software on more than one machine
